In 2020, ICC teamed up with GIST – Impact Valuation to scale a digital platform that tracks the environmental impact of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) business operations, such as greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, air pollution, water and soil pollution, land use and waste generation.
SME360X uses global analysis and databases to measure the environmental impacts of market goods and services, providing the SME with a sustainability score and benchmarking. The platform can also be used by large companies and banks in order to measure the impact of their value chains.
With the analytical information provided by this platform, companies can transition their operations towards a more sustainable model for the future.
