Constituted in 2017, the ICC CEOs Council had its agenda developed within the scope of the Commission on Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption and, since 2020, it has expanded its agenda to strategic themes for ICC Brasil, such as the promotion of international trade, in addition to agendas related to sustainability, innovation and competitiveness.
“I’m very happy to lead the CEOs Council of ICC Brasil. Together we will work to modernize Brazil’s economic agenda and insert the country internationally.”
Mario Lindenhayn, president of bp in Brazil and executive president of BP Bunge Bioenergia.
The group is currently co-chaired by Marcos Matias, president of Schneider Electric in Brazil, and Mario Lindenhayn, president of bp in Brazil and executive president of BP Bunge Bioenergia, and is composed of leaders from 20 Brazilian and foreign companies from different sectors, who contribute closely and actively to the organization’s operations in Brazil and the defense of a strategy of Brazilian international insertion, guided by values of cooperation, environmental preservation and integrity.
We appreciate the commitment and dedication of Tania Cosentino, CEO of Microsoft Brazil and member of the Board of Governors of ICC Brazil, who chaired the CEOs Council for the 2020-2021 biennium, bringing an innovative vision and engaging private sector leaders to advance an agenda of international insertion and strengthening of our country’s credibility.
“I am honored to be invited to co-lead the CEOs Council of ICC Brasil. To be able to actively participate in the articulation of the private sector to put the country back at the center of the international trade agenda and, also, amplify the voice of the Brazilian business community internationally is very gratifying.”
Marcos Matias, president of Schneider Electric in Brazil.
